Duluth · Superior Street · Rescue berth

One hybrid berth. The lake interviews the rest.

Lead Edge chalks a single rescue slot the way the ore docks chalk a slip. A 5-wood often wants the same job. A second hybrid almost always does. Superior cold and Canal Park gusts decide which name stays on the board. We write the board in Suite 2, then we make the extras sit on the rail.

Chalk a Berth How a berth is chalked

Enger Tower wind is a rumor. Canal Park wind is an interviewer.

People arrive from still warehouses in the Cities with two rescues and a story about gapping. Duluth air does not gap. It hires. A high hybrid that looked noble indoors becomes a kite over Lester Park. A 5-wood that looked dull becomes the only adult in the cold.

They made my 4-hybrid and my 5-wood apply for the same slip. The hybrid failed the lake interview. It is in a basement in Proctor now.

I wanted two hybrids because a magazine said so. Nessa chalked one berth. I was annoyed until Canal Park took the other one anyway.
